هذا الكتاب جعلني مدمن مخدرات على الخيال العلمي.
لقد استمتعت بهذا الكتاب ، لكن لم أستطع الدخول إلى لعبة Lord of the Rings.
This is easily one of the most terrifying books I have ever read, because it's all true. The book is fluid and easy to read; Preston is careful to make sure that the science involved is explained in an easy-to-understand format. This in no way makes the book less frightening. The truth about smallpox is in these pages and it is a scary thing. Highly recommended for those who want to know the real dangers of smallpox and how possible a biological attack involving smallpox really is.
If you weren't aware that "time is the fire in which we burn," then this book will have some great advice for you. If you were, you will find it either patronizing or hilarious. I found it both.
Absolutely one of my favorite books! I love dystopian futures, and this one is so wonderfully crafted, and believable. I kept thinking about the current political climate in this country, and how certain events could potentially lead to this happening for real. Some people might not approve of the lack of a 'true ending,' but I like a book that leaves a little mystery at the end.
