It seems to me im coming onto an unsettling trend with moore's stories. I hate the endings. This books ending killed me. I loved the rest of the story and loved the two main characters. It just seems that he gets done with the climax and is too drained of his comical writing to put together a decent resolution. I do hope he puts Tommy or Jody in one of his upcoming books. The only other riff i had with this book is how underdeveloped he made the 3 vampire figures who came into the story about 30 pages form the end. It didn't really do anything except maybe Moore could think of no other way to finish off the bad vampires but to have the hauled off by some random superior vampires. Now that im ranting about how much I hate some of the smaller things in a book I loved The typos and incorrectedness drives me nuts! i.e. In You suck Tommy talks about how zelda (the turtle) is "in some random persons fish pond" when in truth it was scott that was hauled away and he had kept zelda. Also Tommy hauls the turtle statue and Jodys statue out of the old appartment first then takes the vampire to the dock. But when his minion gets to the old loft she says the statues are there but tommy and the vampire statue are gone. Anyways overall and looking past some minor setbacks it was a good book.
