Marvin Minsky is a co-founder of the AI LAB at MIT. His theory on intelligence and the mind is the closest to mine of any other author I have read. His theory is a bit disorganized and some parts are irrelevant, but I believe he captures in this book some of the core elements that are responsible for creating the end result of human thought. Highly recommended reading.
