i know i liked this a lot, but i can't really remember it. that's pretty silly.

The Time Traveler's Wife is a sweet love story about Henry (who jumps back and forth in time) and Claire (who lives life in a normal linear fashion). And, as a sweet love story, it's well written with great characters but it left me wanting a bit more. I felt it could have dealt with some issues better. Henry had some extremely violent episodes, but we never get to explore the darker side. We never explore how the Claire's complete lack of romantic involvement with anyone besides Henry has stunted her. We never explore the ramifications of growing up with an adult version of your husband and knowing early on that he will be your husband. It's like an arranged marriage almost and we never explore the greater impact... I just wish it would have done more. It could have done more but wanted to be a sweet love story. So it was. Nothing more. But it was such a good and well-written sweet love story, that I'll overlook the weaknesses.

This was a really funny book. It's a quick read, and is very interesting. Although it is not really about cheating throughout the book, so the title is a little misleading. Other than that, I highly recommend it. It made me laugh out loud quite a lot!
