لا أعرف المرة الكم التي اقرأ فيها هذه الرواية، وابدا دخول عالم هاري بوتر المتشعب الرائع، احببت رؤية هاري واصدقائه وهم صغار مرة أخرى، وازداد تقدري للكاتبة التي استطاعت أن تأقلم أسلوب كتابتها مع المرحلة العمرية للأبطال، حتى ينضج كلما نضجوا. قراة سابقة في سبتمبر 2012

Leif Enger's second book - So Brave, Young and Handsome: A Novel is well written, humorous, and has a curious plot. I liked his characters -even the "bad" ones. Though it is an amusing tale and even magical at times, it does not come close to the depth and mystery of his first novel, Peace Like a River. His first book is on my top ten list of books and I even assigned the novel for summer reading to an enriched English class. Part of the story for So Brave... is that of a writer who wrote a first well acclaimed novel and who is struggling to write another. I feel for the author. His talent for writing should be able to produce that third great book.
