I've never read this and would like to. Particularly after reading The Historian by Elizabeth Kosanova, which I want to reread knowing more about the Dracula story than I did the first time.

This was a really cute story/cook book. Being a foodie and a big fan of Food Network, I was excited to read about her interactions with other food critics, especially the hilarious Jeffery Steingarten! Some of the recipes seemed a little out of my league, but they sounded delicious. I loved how the author introduced each of the dishes with the storyline...it made the food seem that much more appealing! They say a picture is worth a thousand words, but her prose really got my mouth watering!

Reread it a few years ago and it stood up to my memory.
