Dos veces lo he leído y dos veces me ha fascinado. Y eso que no suele gustarme mucho Vargas Llosa, pero esta novela... La historia, además, es fascinante, la figura de Trujillo -loco,sanguinario - casi irreal. Un diez.

I'm hoping this one will be better since it was written after Chasing Vermeer (same characters are used in both stories---still with pentominoes, hidden pictures, and secret codes)
