As much as I liked dear protagonist Blue Van Meer, this book was still too clunky. Spunky twists (and weird sidekicks) kept me reading, but the endless yadah, yadah name-dropping got really old, really fast. Worth reading, but not if you're chomping at the bit for a smooth story.
