this book was rough. i felt so raw so quickly and was not really ready to let go when it ended. it is amazing to read a memoir that feels like the author is kind of just next to you. and his frame of reference is similar to mine, too. he is a bit older than i am, but the bands he mentions, whatever, felt really familar and immediate.

I loved this book; it was hard to put down. A vampire story with a new twist. Sadly, I believe this book was perfectly set up for a sequel then Octavia passed away. i will miss her continued writing.
