Definitely enjoyed it, but not my favorite of Murakami's work. The way it reads like a screenplay is a bit bizarre. But it's quick read with interesting characters and some unexplained mysteries: still a satisfying read and in a more digestible length. Often his work leaves me wanting to know more about what happens to the characters and how the story might continue, or answers to other mysterious questions that are never revealed; this book didn't have that same effect. It could have been the shorter length or the screenplay writing style, but either way I was not as engaged as I typically get with Murakami's characters.
