A good read... the characters practically leap off the page from the start. Quick moving pace that keeps the pages turning. I read it in one sitting... I couldn't put it down and it was moving so fast, I just kept going until the end. I would have given it a higher rating if the ending had not been so disappointing. Ruby's "solution" to get Lark back was just insane and after that the book just seemed so far-fetched that you couldn't believe it was the same book you had started out liking so much. It made me wonder if the author couldn't figure out how to end it. I wish it had been a different book after page 172 or so. For me the ending was very disappointing.
