March 2014 - Decided to go back and listen to this one. October 2009 Review - I need time to determine how I want to rate this one and what I feel at the moment. . . it could go anywhere from 3 stars to 5 stars. It was so great to go back into Gabaldon's world. I love all her characters, Jamie, Claire, Roger, Bree, Ian and John I have been reading this series since Dragonfly in Amber came out in paperback for the first time around 91-92. These are old friends and I think of them often even when I'm not reading the series. Right now I'm just frustrated that it will be another 4-5 years until the conclusion of the stories that are all left hanging at the end of this book. I think the one that frustrates me the most is Roger's as he by far is my favorite and its now totally left up in the air. . .
