This book was much more of a history lesson than I would have expected. I suppose I was too young even in the 1990s to really understand what was going on in world events and politics. I definitely enjoyed reading more about these things that I lived through from the perspective of a woman who had much greater access than I do. Reading Clinton's autobiography has made me much more sympathetic to her as a person (and especially as a woman). Obviously any autobiography is one-sided, but it has helped me identify with her more - at the very least as a woman who doesn't like to show weakness!
