I read this book a while ago, so I don't remember the details all that clearly. But what I do remember is that it was very real and moving for me. The book literally took me to the time that he was trying to describe and painted a very heart breaking picture for me. It was even somewhat educational if you are like me, and don't have a clue about foreign happenings.
