I finished reading this book a few days ago. I still keep thinking of Sarah and her life. My daughter gave me this book and told me that I would not be able to put the book down, and that the voice of Sarah would haunt me. She was so right. It was such a fabulous book; rather intense and sad at times, but always enjoyable because of the personality and attitude of Sarah, the writer of the journal. I loved her relationship with Jack, especially the way he loved her and admired her. It made me grateful for the time that I am living in, but yet I still appreciated the time that she was living in, especially the simple pleasures that they enjoyed, that are missing in our lives today. A great book, I've given it to the rest of my daughters. I hope they enjoy it as much as I did.
