So, I made a goal to read all of the Newberry Medal Winners (obviously over a LONG time). This is the first one that I got from the library (2008 winner). I'll be honest that I was expecting a novel and it really was poetry. But, after the inital dissapointment, I read it and really did enjoy it. It wasn't a book I devoured, but it was interesting.
