I like Linda Howard. This is the second book I read by her, and even though her books aren't super thrilling the way some other, flashier paranormals can be, her writing style is really pleasant to read. This one's about Sweeney, an absent-minded artist who develops some psychic abilities and starts painting murder scenes in her sleep. Her hero is Richard, the soon-to-be ex-husband of the woman who owns the gallery where Sweeney sells her work. I liked the Richard character--he was totally a sap for Sweeney but could in an instant become a terrifying, ruthless businessman whenever anyone pissed him off. Nice book. I was up all night reading it.
