Got this one courtesy of Library Thing. Action-packed from page one, the kind of story that makes you want to keep reading when you should be doing other things, like eating, sleeping, driving... Two sisters. Four friends. Fathers, mothers, stepmothers, brothers, friends like brothers... Aftermath has it all. Tracy Brown penned a sweeping tale about two sisters dealing with the consequences of their decisions, but not only the two sisters but everyone in their circle. Each has made less than ideal decisions, and each must pay a price in someway. Retribution and redemption are served in equal doses, as these New Yorkers struggle with living the life of their dreams while facing the pasts that made them who they are. A definite page-turner, Aftermath was a good urban fiction read.
