3 seniors from a private Vermont high school are taped having sex with a willing 14 year old girl. Although there is good evidence that the girl started the activities, the girl is underage and when the tape gets placed on the internet and passed around the school, the boys end up getting charged with sexual assault. The book tells the stories as a series of interviews with and journal entries by the students involved, the school officials, and the family members. The girl who is perceived as a victim actually is the least traumatized and the least effected by the sequellae to the single night's poor judgment.
