This is a haunting book. I wasn't sure I would like it, and yet am very glad that I finished reading the book. The twists and turns were well done, and I have to say I was satisfied with the ending. It raises some compelling questions about how we become who we are. I was also interested to see why the characters made the shoices they did. I was unimpressed with the treatment of violence in relationships in this book-more said would be a spoiler. That said it's a solid read and one that I am glad I spent the time to do.
