"Why, is this book, on any-ones favorite's list" she wondered?

This book was an excellent read! I am one of the girls that never outgrew horses, and I love the relationship that Puck has with Dove. Even better is the relationship between Sean and Corr. I understand that type of relationship between horse and rider. The bond that is so tight the horse would leave his herd to be with the rider. It's a heartfelt magical bond without words. I have owned a few horses over the years. But only had the same connection as Sean and Corr once. He was a gorgeous bay quarter horse named Duncan, and when I was riding him he trusted me completely. The world around us could be falling apart but if I asked him to "whoa" and just stand there he would trust me completely and not move a hair. I trusted him with my life too just as Sean trusted Corr. Excellent book Maggie!! And I agree that there shouldn't be a trilogy, this book stands alone! :0) Carol
