... and you think your family is dysfunctional? This is the story of the McKotch family who vacationed on Cape Cod. Frank a science prof and his wife Paulette discover their daughter Gwen has Turner's syndrome -- this will prevent her from growing and maturing as a woman. This colors their life in an indelible way. The fmaily also has two sons -- Billy the older, very handsome one who turns out to be gay and Scotty the ignored, younger son who has a myriad of problems.

As you can normally expect from a Grimm Brothers story, this story has a darkness to it. It seemed like a classic tale where the evil chambermaid forces the princess to switch with her, so that she can marry the king. In the end the maid is found out, and suffers a gruesome death which she herself created unknowingly. I always enjoy the Brothers Grimm stories, they're original and keep you guessing. I look forward to reading more of theirs.
