I liked just as much as the first one. The love triangle is torturous in this one. There is a lot revealed and a lot of indications that there is a lot unknown . . . a great set up for book three. The main character Jace if very tortured and at times his arrogance can be a bit overwhelming. But you get why he is behaving in reckless ways, but it can be a bit overwhelming at times. This book does not have the same level of action as the first, but the relationships get more developed and the intricate details of the plot are solidified. You know it is building up to a great book 3. So push through the pain of the relationship struggles and the occasional demon attack. The book remains funny and witty. But it is dark from a character plot development stand point. Good Times!!
