Fast, fast read. From the reviews that I've skimmed and the people that I've talked to about this book, it seems that the main theme is the anti-war message as collected from the bombing of Dresden. It's not a gruesome book; it's somewhat more subtle than that. I actually have no idea what Vonnegut is getting at, because it seems like he's getting at five different things. What does intrigue me about the book are the Tralfamadorians (or however they are spelled) and all the implications associated with time-travel, fate and existence, and that lovely alien zoo of Billy Pilgrim's. I don't know why I'm into all of that. Very thought-provoking for such a fast read.
This one is by far my favorite of the trilogy. I never thought that I would shop for books in the Fantasy section, but these have been great. They are a different spin on the Robin Hood story.
