beautiful, touching, written like poetry, captivating

I find it hard to find a book that I don't particularly like. I felt this book was well written and all in all a good story. Then ending however really didn't satisfy me. I felt it ended abruptly and without a very good explanation as to all of the events at hand. I enjoyed the novel as a whole though. The mystery elements of Frankie kept me entertained. I wish there would have been more said about the character Alpha though, he interested me the most. I feel that this book could be used in a high school English class. I say high school because there are a lot of big words and at times some confusing passages using these words that middle school students may not understand. However it could be used as an exercise to have students use a dictionary to clarify words they don't know or particularly understand. All in all this is a story of fitting in and trying to find your place among your peers. I think this idea is something that students at the high school level can read and relate to.
