I remember this being exremely addictive. It was very easy to read with short or sharp chapters that persuaded me to read 'just another one' before putting it down per session. It promised to be a debut that delivered and didn't let me down.

I felt smarter after I read the Thursday Next books (and, honestly, a little smug that I could recognize most, if not all, of the literary references...hmm, that's nerdy)
