This is one of those books that makes you wonder what you can do to stop the atrocities that happen on this earth. Amazing story about a Nigerian refugee and an English woman...I don't want to say much more because the beauty is in the way the story unfolds.

Lamb is an exceedingly funny and surprisingly philosophical exploration into the life of Jesus Christ. Not for the overly sensitive. I really enjoyed this book right up until the ending, which is where Christopher Moore usually falls flat for me. This one's felt abrupt, as if Moore said, "Okay, goddamnit, I want this book over with!" However, the rest of the book is entertaining enough to deal with the ending. Definitely recommended.
