My mum recommended this book to me - fab!

I read this right after another book about the same time period and it was interesting to have a book with a different perspective than the majority of holocaust era books. It about German citizens during WWII and how the war affected them, focusing on one girl and her family in particular. It's a great read, especially for a book club.
