I love this book. I love the Bennets, dysfunctional and nonsensical as they are as a unit. I love Mr. Darcy and Elizabeth Bennet particularly, of course, and I adore their relationship--and lack thereof. Elizabeth's quick wit and obvious intelligence, and the way that she doesn't mind being a little bit sharp sometimes, make her one of my favorite characters, ever. And the romance, oh the romance. I wish, and this is my problem with almost all books about falling in love, that I could see more of them as a couple, already together, already in love. The few pages at the end just don't answer well enough to all the angst that lead up to it. The secondary characters are all great, too. Mr. Bingley, in particular, and Mary makes a great foil. And who doesn't want to punch Lydia in the face?
