this was a fun read. I love back in time themes and this was perfect with a man from the revolutionary war coming to our time and needing to get back home. it is the type of book that would make a great Hallmark Hall of fame movie.

Wasn't a bad YA read, until..I thought it was a good premise, definitely timely with controversy over immigration and racial profiling, etc., but I found the dialogue alittle contrived at times. I was ok with that until the story just took a very movie of the week turn, and my opinion of it dropped significantly.

Another enjoyable read by the author. Follows the story loosely of Aetius and Attila. The author couldn't do a serious in depth book, but did a fair job overall, and then focuses on the Battle of Campi Catalaunici (Chalons). Other then the obvious need to skip over some of Attila's history and the impressive things he did, there were a few jumps that kind of left one wondering how it went from one view and action to the next.

A very graphic, suspenseful series filled with the atrocities and also somehow, the well-meanings of mankind. Wonderfully written, meticulously planned. I am sure I'm not the only one who is sad that this wonderful Author passed on before he could tie up all the loose ends. Lisabeth Salander is an unforgettable heroine, and though I would never wish to have her life, I would love to be as kick ass brave and strong as she is. Props to Stieg, he sure wrote a fantastic book, and quite an addictive one at that.
