A true story written by a Father about his son. Chronicles the son's addition to methadone. A heartwrenching story but a decent read.
Very like John Irving (whom I love) and similarly bursting with humanity, but moves more quickly from scene to scene. Only downside for me was that (perhaps because I was reading it in one hour chunks) I forgot who was who and how they related on a few occasions (so maybe the number of characters could have been pared back?), but I stuck with it and enjoyed it.
Moderately interesting. The first couple of chapters were really hard. Then it got a bit interesting. Now I am struggling again.
