It was better than I thought it would be - the cover blurb and art had me thinking Allison was going to be a fluff-head, but she was the opposite. The book only covers 2 months, but it is an eventful 2 months and while Allison occasionally frustrated me, my overall I would hope I be as strong/brave/caring as she was. A fun read and I'll be looking forward to this young author's next work - there is a preview of it at the end of this book and it has a good start to it!
