love this author so much and the first thursday book is the best. for anyone who's a literary buff and gets all the in-jokes, they will get this book.

I have very mixed feelings about this story. It was undeniably touching, yet put forward a point of view that bothers me. (view spoiler) It was interesting to see Charley's "grim reaper" job from the other side, though. This has spoilers for First Grave on the Right, and probably won't be very interesting if you haven't read that anyway.

Oh gosh, I'm in love. This book was ah-mazing. I borrowed this book from the library, but I think I am actually going to go out and buy it. It's one of those books that I want to read every holiday. Even though I read this story in October, it was simply outstanding. I loved the characters, their use of words and quotes. I wrote down so many quotes and page numbers that completely struck me as amazing! =D I highly recommend this book =] The set-up is so different from anything I have ever read before! =D!
