On my review of the previous book I wondered the fact that the first two book doesn't seem to be related, now I see why. In this part of the series suddenly everything makes sense. I really liked the way Rachel Vincent build every part of the story so it slowly click into the whole. I think she made a great job bleding actual teen issues such as drug abuse and sex into the plot and I like the way the characters turn more real and flawed, it was more easy to relate to them. I totally loved Kaylee´s attitude towards Nash and to the whole situation, is so hard this days to find a YA protagonist that actually has guts, to defend her ideas and principles. Go Kaylee!!!... and therefore, Go Rachel Vincent!!!
I just couldn't get into this book no matter how hard I tried. Something with the writing style was off to me. Also the main character was so whiney and wimpy that I just couldn't bear reading anything more about her. Maybe one day I will finish it but for now it goes onto my "Couldn't Finish" shelf...possibly forever.
