There are some gems for quotes in the first essay, but I felt the piece overall to be simultaneously too wandering and too technical (given that I haven't yet read much Bergson). Decided to pass on the second set of essays.

I've met the author; she's lovely, a former dancer; she knows all the ropes. This book is her first novel and follows her previous book, White Swan, Black Swan. It's the story of a female corps de ballet dancer who is involved with a male dancer in the corps, but worries that it will affect her career. Basically, she puts dance first. I would only recommend this book if you are into dance.
