I have no Russian so it's hard to judge the translation, though it seems more lively than the version I read a few years ago. The book itself is unspeakably great; Dostoevsky would be worth learning Russian for.

What I learned from this book: There's nothing that isn't made a little bit better by zombies. Oh, and dick jokes. Grahame-Smith loves himself some dick jokes.
