This was the slowest read and I didn't really care what happened at the end. I only read it for my book club. The sad thing is took three weeks to read!! I could have finished three good books in that same time!

I likd Sabin, he was hot. I thought Gwen was an ok character, her weakness in the beginning was annoying but she got stronger with Sabin's help. They were hot together, cute couple. I liked the introduction of the harpies they were kick-ass. The ending annoyed me, that Gwen couldn't let them capture/kill her long lost father. The same man that authorized her capture and torture for a year smh. So dumb. Why would Sabin let her choose to let him go wtf. The story ran a bit too long but it was a cool read. Will read the next...is it Gideon's story?
