This was a sobering but fascinating read of what life is like for women in Saudi Arabia.

I think if I had to describe this book in one word it would be heart-warming. It grabs your heart. The premise of the book is quite similar to the movie "What Dreams May Come" with Robin williams and Cuba Gooding Jr. This is a self journey/discovery through different stages in Joe's life, some good times and some bad. Each "stop" has a different effect on him and his destination. The "world" is intriguing and unpredictable to keep you engaged in the story. The characters are fun and quirky. As the story unfolds you learn more about Joe and his life and what each of these secondary characters add to his life. This book is not erotic but thought provoking (you really have to have an open mind to understand the "world") and plot driven.
