A vampyre hard-boiled detective novel? love it!

I think the storyline of Fablehaven is wonderful. I can understand why my students enjoy is so much. At first it was a little hard for me to get into, but I enjoyed how the book become more intriging as it went on and the faries became more involved. Mull's style was a little hard for me because he tends to use short, sometimes choppy sentences, problably for his young readers. It did keep my interest until the very end and I shall probably read the sequels.
