Transgendered teens..not a topic you read about in teen literature often, but it is out there and this book at least opens up the eyes of those not familiar with the term. I love this author's books (Between Mom and Jo, Keeping You a Secret, Far From Xanadu) because she writes about subject matter not touched upon very often. The world is not black and white...straight or gay and the world of today's teenager is FAR from this simple. If you want to know more about the world that is the transgendered teen..read this book, and then move on to an adult novel along the same lines..."Trans-Sister Radio" (I wrote about that one too!)
