Re-read from when I was a kid. I couldn't remember most of the book, but I remembered the end (and it still had the same affect on me)!

** spoiler alert ** I really wanted to give this book 3.5 stars instead of 3 or 4. I read this book based on friend reviews. I have to admit the suspense of the story of this Vida Winter was very intriguing to me. I couldn't believe all of the situations that she went through. I also found close to the end of the book that when we find otu Vida really "wasn't" one of the twins but a sister. I do have to admit that the thirteenth tale was a disappointment to me, but that's okay. Overall good book, but especially on keeping you sucked into the story line.
