This is the Braestrup book I bought my own copy of. I very much appreciated her insight on various written prayers and ways of praying, woven together, as always, with stories and thoughts from her own quite interesting life. Braestup's writing is powerful and engaging, buttressed with humor and a rich, warm tone. I was excited to delve even deeper into her theological ideas and her interpretations of Biblical passages as a not-quite-Christian UU minister. I am a big fan of Braestrup as a writer and as a theologian, and with each new book she just keeps getting better & better.
