Well, more like anthropology but whatever. Accurate (meaning he seems to write it all down but perception & reality...well, you know), sometimes pleasant, long, thorough.

Recommended by my seven-year-old niece. Fun story about a thirteen-year-old girl who sees faeries. They cause her all kinds of problems, and she's sent to live with her cold and emotionally distant grandmother, who lives in a huge old estate that's crawling with faeries, etc. There are a couple of mysteries and some fun plot twists that I enjoyed, but on the whole I think the story is ultimately forgettable.
