I could not put this book down once I started. Emma is endearing and so is Dexter, but sometimes you just want to shake him for being such a fool. The book begins in the 1980s when Emma and Dexter are in their early twenties. After their one day together, they cannot stop thinking about each other. Over the twenty years that follow, you see snapshots of their relationship on the same day - July 15- of each year. Sometimes in Emma's voice; sometimes in Dexter's, the reader sees them squabble and fight only to come back together again. You'll laugh, you'll cry.
