I'll have to admit, my Hunger Games experience was a bit of a rollercoaster. There were times where everything made sense; there were times when I was blank, and completely clueless. And there were times when I understood exactly why the Hunger Games was a bestseller. The third book is the grand finale. Where life-changing decisions are made, where promises are made and broken, and when there are moments of joy, there is also a moment of heart break. I thought Mocking Jay was brilliant! A massive improvement from her second book in the Hunger Games series (Catching Fire). It was fast paced, thrilling and had the perfect balance of emotion and action. I would rate it a four on five. Not five, because the ending was quite disappointing; especially after so much build up and suspense. I would reccomend Suzzane Collin's Mocking Jay to anybody who likes suspense, action, and a good book.
