Mark Luciani Luciani من عند Kosztowo, بولندا
It reminded me a lot of the Dresden files, but I think I enjoyed this one a little better, mostly because of content. I'll be reading more of Nola O'Grady...
Zombies and Star Trek.. need I say more?? I didn't think so!
i always say: read every book, because behind all these sentences you will find truth. and if not it was worth reading it because there always is always a strangely true and good sentence in it. I've found this book by coincidence on amazon.de. Normally i read german book, but i like to enlarge my english skills. But this is not the point here. the main character in is novel is Candance Shapiro. She's very similar to Bridget Jones, also funny, strange, confused and in the end of her thirties. One day she gets the message, that her ex-boyfriend has published a journal article about their relationship named "Loving a larger woman". And this is, what the book is mainly about. But this is not just a ordinary woman-has-to-get-over-a-realtionship-novel. It's about the feeling of abandonment, being not loved, missing self-love and the curiosity and the so called cruelty of the world. Like Bridget Jones Candance also gets trough a change. And in the end Candance realizes the most important thing in life: there is more than just appearance. It's about how you see things. And what you do with your life. Happy End.
